Wine Man Show in English at Le Moderne

Description

The Wine Man Show in English is an original and convivial experience that combines humorous stand-up comedy, wine tasting and lively stories about the vineyards of the northern and southern Rhône Valley. It is accompanied by an “Assiette Ardéchoise” (seasonal and local products served cold) and a chocolate dessert, selected and created by Café Moderne, which welcomes us into its private, intimate, and air-conditioned tasting room.
A gourmet and convivial menu, designed to complement the experience and satisfy even the heartiest appetites as the evening draws to a close.
This show celebrates the vineyards of St. Peray, St. Joseph, Cornas, Crozes-Hermitage, and Hermitage through three estates with deep historical roots in their terroirs and the historic Cave de Tain.
Through funny, accessible, and sometimes offbeat mini-stories, Epicur’Yann tells the story of wine in a unique way: its origins, its characters, its anecdotes, and its contrasts.
The tasting consists specifically of four white wines (Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne, and a cuvée aged in oak barrels), four red wines (Crozes-Hermitage, St.
Joseph, Cornas, and Hermitage), and one sparkling wine from St. Peray, each serving as the thread for a short, clear, and lively story that helps you better understand just how
incredible our wine region is.
No prior knowledge of wine is necessary:
Whether you’re a discerning wine lover, a curious casual drinker, or a complete novice, the event is designed for everyone!
No technical jargon or academic lectures—here, we laugh, discover, and share!
