Linaë Aquatic Center in Tain-l'Hermitage: the complete aquatic center
The Linaë aquatic center attracts many residents and visitors. This modern and well-maintained complex was designed to meet the needs of all audiences, from young children to experienced athletes, as well as wellness enthusiasts.
There is a sports pool for swimmers, two paddling pools for toddlers, a fun pool equipped with whirlpools and massage benches for relaxation, as well as an indoor slide for slide lovers. The slide is available all year round, perfect for rainy days or off-season visits. In the summer season, the outdoor areas complement the offer with water games, lawns, and shaded picnic spots.
For those seeking a moment of tranquility, the center also has a wellness area with a spa, saunas, and fitness space.
The Linaë aquatic center is entirely indoors.


Champos Lake: nature, relaxation, and leisure
About a 30-minute drive from Tournon-sur-Rhône, in the town of Saint Donat sur l’Herbasse, the Domaine du Lac de Champos is a breath of fresh air for nature lovers, wide-open spaces, and swimming in the great outdoors. Located on the banks of the Rhône, this family-friendly pool reopens from July 5th and welcomes swimmers every day of the week, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Sunday.
It offers several options to suit all types of visitors.

Municipal Pools: Saint-Victor, Saint-Félicien

Open from June 1st to August 31st, this pool offers attractive rates for all ages.

Lake Vernets, in Saint-Barthélemy-de-Vals, is an ideal spot to cool off in the summer. With supervised swimming, a large beach, a 1,500 m² inflatable water park, paddleboarding, and pedal boats, everything is in place to fully enjoy the water in a safe and friendly atmosphere.



Etoile park
Located in Étoile-sur-Rhône, Etoile Park 26 is a perfect leisure base to cool off during the summer. The site offers supervised swimming, a 2,000 m² inflatable aqua park accessible from age 6, as well as water activities such as paddleboarding, pedal boating, and tubing. A snack bar is also available on site for refreshments.


The Retourtour Site: Relaxation, Beach-Style
Retourtour is one of the most popular destinations for both locals and tourists. This leisure base is specially designed for swimming and summer activities. It is located a bit further away but is well worth the trip for the quality of its facilities and the beauty of its surroundings.

Where swimming is prohibited
It is important to note that in Tournon-sur-Rhône itself, there is no longer any officially authorized swimming site. Although the town is bordered by the Rhône and crossed by the Doux, it does not offer any designated areas for swimming.
Douce Plage, located between Tournon-sur-Rhône and Saint-Jean-de-Muzols, is a natural spot appreciated for its beauty and peaceful setting along the Doux River. However, swimming has been prohibited there since 1995 by municipal order due to dangerous currents and the lack of supervision. This regulation aims to ensure visitors’ safety while preserving the site's tranquility.
Access to the Cuves du Duzon: prohibited to the public
The Cuves du Duzon are sometimes mentioned as a remarkable natural site, but access is not allowed. The only path leading there crosses private property, and entry is strictly forbidden to preserve the tranquility of the area and respect the rights of the owners.
