Interpretive Trail of the Gorges de la Daronne
In the heart of preserved nature, an interpretive trail is set up within a Sensitive Natural Area* (ENS): the Gorges de la Daronne. This beautiful marked and developed walk ranges between 2.8 km and 6 km, with two possible starting points. Along your hike, seven round “bubble-panels,” informational signs, reveal their secrets. They hide locked boxes that you can open with the “Secret Nature of the Gorges de la Daronne” map. Each bubble contains leaflets that let you discover more about the local fauna, flora, traditions, and history.
A peaceful nature walk, an invitation to the art of living, a moment of relaxation by the river. The “Secret Nature of the Gorges de la Daronne” kit is available for purchase at €5 in our welcome offices.
*Sensitive Natural Areas (ENS) aim to preserve the quality of sites, landscapes, and natural environments and to ensure the protection of natural habitats, while also developing these spaces for public access, except in cases where the fragility of the natural environment requires restrictions.
