How about a winter hike of 8 km starting from Tournon-sur-Rhône?
This getaway takes you through the vineyards after a gentle ascent, then descends to the banks of the Doux river. Along the river, you will discover the riparian vegetation, which is essential to the ecosystem of the tributary. You will also enjoy beautiful viewpoints over the Doux Valley and the Hermitage Hill.

Montchenu

A small 4 km walk around the village of Montchenu. Head towards its Castle with its two towers from the 9th and 11th centuries, built on an ancient motte castrale. Protected as a Historical Monument, it reflects the medieval history of the Drôme des Collines.
From this point, also enjoy a wide panorama revealing the cliffs of Vercors, as well as the Vivarais and Pilat mountain ranges.
