Description
Discover a place of learning founded during the Renaissance. Visit limited to 20 people (visit with stairs) - pre-reservation recommended by e-mail. Tours at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. - duration 1h30 approx.
The tour begins in front of the Renaissance portico before moving on to the Jesuit chapel (1714). Next, we’ll head to the main courtyard (the heart of the school’s historic section), then, passing by the wing built by the Oratorians (1780), we’ll enter the park, which remains a favorite spot for students to this day.
After passing through the monumental staircase that has been in use since the 18th century, we’ll arrive on the first floor, where we’ll admire the tapestry gallery (currently under renovation) and the assembly hall. We’ll conclude our tour with a visit to the magnificent historic library.
