Description

The exhibition "Mélanges de joyeuses couleurs" (A Blend of Joyful Colors), presented by Sylvie Bardioux at the MJC, brings together works specifically inspired by nature and the mountains. For Sylvie Barbieux, drawing and painting are in her blood! She inherited her artistic flair from her mother, who in turn had inherited it from her own mother—a true family legacy.
She spent years drawing passionately and exploring oil painting as well as other techniques like collage and acrylics, eventually earning a university degree in Art from the University of Valenciennes.
In 2000, after moving to the Drôme region—with its mountain ranges that offer inspiration in every season—she turned to "nomadic" watercolor painting, allowing her to create travel sketchbooks.
