Description

An independent winemaker, Sébastien Michelas cultivates his vines organically with a deep concern for the living, guided by an agro-ecological approach inherited from nature and farming know-how. After twenty years devoted to his family's vineyards, he set up his own domaine to explore the character of remarkable localities in Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas and Hermitage, with an emphasis on meticulous parcel-by-parcel work.

The parcels he vinifies - Chapon, Les Pichères, Les Grapiats, Bellevue, Les Côtes in Cornas and Les Dionnières in Hermitage - give life to authentic wines, driven by the natural balance between soil, vines and biodiversity. The story is now a long-term one, with the arrival of his son Kylian, a sign of a transmission already underway. A resolutely committed estate, where each cuvée expresses the strength of its terroir as much as the passion of a winemaker faithful to his values.
