Freewheeling concerts Stage from Valence to Tournon/Rhône

Description

A musical journey by bike in the Ardèche! An original and eco-responsible experience.
‘Concerts en roues libres’, from 5 to 11/06/25, is a quartet of professional musicians cycling through the Ardèche in 7 stages, instruments on their backs. Every evening, they offer concerts of baroque and classical music in picturesque and unusual locations.
Combining music and adventure, they create a unique atmosphere at each stop, driven by passion and conviviality.
The public are invited to join them on their bikes, on journeys of between 30 and 70 km a day, and to attend the daily concert, to enjoy an artistic and human experience, to the rhythm of the Ardèche cycle paths.

Focus on the Valence - Tournon/Rhône stage (25km) - Thursday 5 June 2025
Venue & time of concert: Slowfood Café barge (2, promenade L. Perrier) - 8pm

The Freewheeling Concerts adventure gets off to a flying start... A little warm-up with this 1st leg along the ViaRhôna, the cycle route linking Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean Sea... The route arrives in the heart of Tournon/Rhône, famous for its AOP St Joseph vineyards and its château overlooking the Rhône. It's aboard the Slowfood Café barge that our musicians will be taking us on board for this 1st concert on the water.

Don't miss this extraordinary musical adventure, where every note is carried by the wheels of the bikes and the soul of the musicians. We look forward to seeing you for a freewheeling concert, a memorable experience!
