Description

Since its creation, Mze Shina ("Inner Sun") has devoted itself to Georgian polyphony, a masterpiece of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity. The ensemble sings a cappella and with traditional Georgian instruments. Presale price available. The ensemble has developed its own musical and poetic universe: ploughing songs, harvest songs, wedding songs, healing songs, sacred songs... a vast repertoire linked to the land, accompanied by traditional Georgian instruments: the pandouri and the tchongouri (3 and 4-string lutes), the tchangi (8-string harp) and the tchouniri (bowed fiddle).
