Freelance wine tourism guide in the Tain l'Hermitage and Tournon sur Rhône regions, Wine Man Show author and wine tourism manager for family estates in the northern Rhône valley. A Tournonese by birth, I've built up my expertise in the world of excellence over more than 25 years in the high-end hotel and restaurant business, starting with Gordon Ramsay in London and ending with 15 years on the Rock of Monaco. Whether Maître d'hôtel, sommelier, butler or manager, I've worked alongside some of the greatest chefs and in some of the most prestigious establishments on the Côte d'Azur.
Winner of the Best Maître d'hôtel of the Côte d'Azur and Monaco competition in 2006, I have developed recognized expertise in the art of service and wine knowledge. This international experience has enabled me to refine my understanding of the expectations of a demanding clientele, and to master the art of hospitality in both French and English.
My passions
In 2020, the call of my native terroir became stronger. I decided to put my expertise at the service of my home region, the Northern Rhône Valley. I obtained my WSET level 2 certifications with distinction and specialized in wine-related English to support international customers, thanks to the Terra Rhona training school in Tain-l'hermitage.
Today, I share my twofold passion: excellent service and the richness of the Rhone terroirs. Every visit becomes an authentic encounter where history, geology, viticulture and the art of living come together.
