Sentier d'interprétation "Sur les traces de Marie Mourier"

Description

A stroll through the heart of the village of Vaudevant. Discover the Occitan language and the story of Vaudevant-born artist Marie Mourier. 1.3 kms (not accessible in winter, to protect audio equipment from the humidity of the season). In the heart of Vaudevant, you'll have the chance to travel back in time, hear Occitan spoken as you stroll along, and discover a new place of culture... but also a place of memory and transmission through the story of Marie Mourier, writer of Occitan, born in 1922, who arrived in Vaudevant at the age of 3 when her parents came to run a farm at "la Roue".
The trail is made up of a dozen panels fixed to small school desks, corresponding to 10 stations, 8 of which are audio stations in Occitan, allowing visitors to listen to Marie Mourier's poems and songs in the langue d'oc.
Inhabitants and visitors alike can now follow in Marie Mourier's footsteps and enter this poetic and literary wandering, punctuated by work on the land, a "house to run" and the irresistible urge to write and pass on.
