Combe de Chaloray

The Combe de Chaloray is a nugget in the Herbasse sector. A gentle warm-up on the first km before tackling the main climb of the course on a lovely sandy path. At the switchback, you'll skirt a few fields before literally plunging into the combe via a fairly technical passage. You then walk along the bottom of this sandy combe. After crossing the road, you enter the final section, with its lush, Amazon-like vegetation. The climb back up to the village, ending in a micro bamboo grove, completes this unlikely change of scenery. You'll have to make your way through the village streets to get back to reality.
