Since 2018, thanks to Laurent Vauquiez, the Région des Lumières is a part of the promotion’s policy of the Heritage and monuments. Every year, some exceptional sites are selected. Every sound and light show is unique ! It’s created according to the History and Heritage of the place. Both tourist and local people enjoy the show. From a technical point of view, it’s remarkable, mixing 2D, 3D, video mapping with splendid musical effects ! Tournon sur Rhône is one of the lucky site selected ! Until August 30th, enjoy this outdoor sound and light show! You must see it !
Sound and light at the castle of Tournon
This one is inspired by our history, gastronomy and terroir. The company Alllumeurs de Rêves and Gilbert Coudène are the creator of the show. The sound and light is projected on the castle wall and last for 20 min. Every night, from 09h30 PM to midnight, the show is running. The icing on the cake : it’s free !To enjoy the sound and light, be at the Square du souvenir Français, next to the Quay Farconnet. Enjoy a summer night and stroll around to discover this fairy story of the city. Enjoy without moderation !

Take some time to have a drink or an ice-cream… Enjoy the bar and café’s terraces along the quay Farconnet. This sound and light show is the perfect opportunity for exploring the city during the night. Taste our specialties thanks to our restaurants. Be charmed by the friendly mood around a drink and some tapas. The new arrangement of the quay Farconnet is perfect for everybody. Walk thought the main street of the historical centre. In addition, the shops will be extended for couple of hours at night !

How to come ? Where park the car ? Here, you will find some practical information to fully enjoy the sound and light show and the Castle of Tournon !
By the road : Speedway A7 Exit 13 : Tain l’Hermitage, National Road 7 to Tain l’Hermitage, National Road 86 to Tournon sur Rhone.
By train : railway station in Tain l’Hermitage.
Works in progress on the bridge Gustave Toursier
Due to some works on the bridge Gustave Toursie, the bridge between Tain l’Hermitage and Tournon sur Rhône, the road is closed the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night from 09h30 pm to 05h00 AM, until mid-September. If you come from the department of Drôme, it’s better to cross the Rhône river at la Roche de Glun or Gervans. It’s also possible to park your car in Tain l’Hermitage and use the pedestrian bridge Marc Seguin.
