Whether a polyphonic joust or a dialogue, the three ensembles—staged within our great Gothic edifice—call out to one another, respond, and ultimately come into harmony to sing a resounding "Terra mea" together. A blend of power and intimacy. Polyphonies from around the world and improvised songs resonate, connecting the present moment to vocal traditions through the voice of the belly and the voice of the heart.
The Quatuor Gourmand: flute, clarinet, saxophone, and cello. This unique instrumental ensemble offers a varied repertoire ranging from Antonio Vivaldi to Philip Glass, including works by Sergei Prokofiev and Astor Piazzolla.
