The Eden Garden

Description

Ancient parc of the Cordeliers and the nuns of Notre-Dame convents. Situated nearby the old rampart of the town, an authentic place to chill and admire the amazing panoramic view. Sports shoes required. A green setting steeped in history. This shady park where various botanical species meet, is a haven of peace located in the center of Tournon. it's about an hectare of promenades jealously guarded by a tower and ramparts dating back to the Renaissance. A path dotted with ponds, statues, oratories and small bridges leads to the belvedere, where a rose garden awaits walkers, who are sure to fall under the spell of the exceptional panorama: a view of the town of Tournon, the valley and the vineyards of Tain l'Hermitage, at the foot of which the Rhône meanders.
